From the desk of Adonis Peil:

Fall planting is here!!!!!!!!! Oklahoma is one of the most difficult environments to plant trees and shrubs in, well in my opinion, in the entire world!!! Hot, windy summers, cold winters, and wet spring and fall account the survivability and/or mortality of newly planted trees and shrubs. As a landscape contractor, it amazes me every day that we actually plant so many trees and shrubs that actually survive through such harsh conditions.

New trees and shrubs planted in the spring must survive summer heat and stress with fairly young root systems while still producing enough nutrients to support months of growth and flowering. By planting shrubs and trees in the fall, roots have a chance to grow all fall, and some of the winter as well, without having to supply nourishment for the busy growing season. Roots of fall planted shrubs and trees will continue growing as long as the ground temperature is above 50 degrees Fahrenheit which can give them several months of head start growth time.

Call us today and ask about our fall planting specials!!!!

Respectfully,
